Jakayla is a single mother of a young daughter. They enjoy family time and attending church on Sundays and Wednesdays. Rita is a lovely lady that has 30+ years experience as a LPN and over 5 years experience as a Family Home Provider. Rita is an animal lover and has two dogs - a German Shepard and a Boston Terrier. She loves to take walks, visit with family, cook for family and friends, complete arts & crafts and to go shopping. Participants that live with Rita are treated as part of her family.

46 years of my life has been working with people in this field. At 18 years old, I volunteered at a county “Activity Control for Fun” with people with special needs. From then on, I have worked as a Direct Support Professional in many roles.

Janice is a single woman with no children and two dogs. She resides in Louisville KY. Janice has three years of experience as an FHP. She currently lives alone and is looking for a male or female participant to add to her family. She enjoys a multitude of activities, but especially loves to cook and enjoy a family night at home. Janise wanted to express that although she may be young, she is an old soul and is very passionate about advocating for those who can't advocate for themselves.

Tuwanna is a very active and sociable single woman that has thirty years of experience as an FHP. Tuwanna has helped people with disabilities since she was nine years old and absolutely loves it. It has molded her to always be kind and wanting to help people by touching their hearts and making a difference. She volunteers for many groups, such as her sorority, veterans, and people with drug and alcohol addictions. Tuwanna also has a degree in special education.

She is seeking a male or female waiver participant to add to her family. She is open to supporting a range of needs from fully independent to full care. Tuwanna is a non-smoker, but would allow someone to smoke outside. She also enjoys church, volunteering, and making the world a better place.

Peggy is a passionate widow that has a twelve-year-old daughter that lives with her and resides in Louisville KY. Peggy is actively seeking a male or female participant join her family. She is an inside smoker and does not mind if anyone else smokes. Peggy is open to performing personal care as needed. She has two years of experience as a family home provider.

Peggy enjoys gardening, canning food, crafts, and festivals. She is also an avid animal lover. She currently has five dogs and is open to others in the home having a small animal.

Bertina is a very active single woman with one small child. She resides in Louisville KY. Bertina has thirteen years of experience as an FHP and currently another female waiver participant calls this home. Bertina is looking for a male or female waiver participant that is active, kind spirited, and is open to be helped to be successful in life and to become a part of her family.

Bertina’s passion is to advocate for people who are unable to advocate for themselves. She does not have any pets and does not smoke; however, others are welcome to smoke outside. Bertina loves volunteering, cooking, music, and nature walks.

Grace is a sweet lady that is in a place in her life where she wants to enjoy life and affect others in a positive way. She is a single woman with no children or pets and resides in Bowling Green KY. Grace has nine years of experience as an FHP. Currently, a female waiver participant calls this home.

Grace likes to cook and take walks. She is open to just about any activity. Grace is looking for a female participant to add to her family.

Rebecca is a very sweet lady that lives in Nicholasville KY. She is currently a FHP for a very active female waiver participant. Rebecca is divorced with one grown child and one cat. Rebecca devotes her life to the waiver participant making her life as enjoyable as she can. They eat their meals as a family and are constantly doing something fun; whether it’s getting their nails done at a salon or going on vacation. Rebecca doesn’t see the waiver participant as a client. She sees her as a part of her family and the feeling is mutual. Rebecca is looking for an active female waiver participant to add to her family. Rebecca has a huge heart and to quote her when it comes to how she feels about the IDD community “I haven’t walked in their shoes, but my heart has”.
